Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Parade Steward, Miss S. Evans did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Due to technical issues with the semiphore board, the wrong race number (race 5) was displayed.
Riendo was quick to begin. Everglade and Shiny Ink were slow to begin.
Gangsta Paradise (severely checked and fell on the first turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spinal fracture. Gangsta Paradise was humanely euthanised.
A post-race sample was taken from Shiny Ink - the winner of the event.
