Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 18.4 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.4 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. Stewards conducted random carpark checks on the vehicles of trainers engaged in today’s meeting and were satisfied that the transport checked had adhered to the GRV Hot Weather Policy and the GRV Transportation of Greyhounds Policy.
Short Notice and Aston Cabaret were slow to begin.
A post–race sample was taken from Get A Grip – the winner of the event.
