Chilly Bin – New declared weight of 32.2kg last raced at 31.1kg.
Phantom Patch and Chilly Bin were slow to begin.
Phantom Patch (frequency of racing) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Fend Them Off underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a laceration to the left hind foot. A14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke Trainer Mr. M. Gibbons and reminded him of his responsibilities, pursuant to GAR 156(f) for negligence after the greyhound Chilly Bin momentarily slipped its collar at the boxes before being restrained by Mr. Gibbons. In assessing the matter, Stewards took into consideration the low impact of the incident and Mr. Gibbon's quick actions in capturing the greyhound which did not delay the start of the race.
A post–race sample was taken from Impress Patch – the winner of the event.
