An out of competition sample was taken from Colden Mandella on 18 July 2023 pursuant to GAR 139.
Manila Coghlan was severely checked turning out of the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hind metacarpal region and a left sartorius muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Keep It Black underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have split webbing on the left fore foot and a left fore toe dislocation. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
