Marionvale Pies – New declared weight of 32.1kg, last raced at 33.5kg.

Please Thanks turned its head several times from the 200m mark to the 150m mark and again approaching the winning post. Please Thanks underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Gerry Orr regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Please Thanks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Orr pleaded guilty to the charge. Please Thanks was found guilty and suspended for 28 days all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rio Blazer.

Stewards noted the muzzle of Joyous Monaro became dislodged during the running of the event.

A sample was taken from Insensitve upon arrival at the course. 

Done Over – Late scratching at 10.25am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to illness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Insensitive was quick to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Unique Destiny - the winner of the event.

Mr Scott Millard failed to kennel Arctic Dash by the appointed kennelling time. A warning was issued pursuant to LR 39.1.

Arctic Dash and Mystic Kid were slow to begin. 

Mystic Kid crossed to the rail soon after the start.

Hammer To Fall – New declared weight of 32.3kg, last raced at 33.5kg.

Irish Brew was quick to begin. Mangrove Merv and Jack's Regret were slow to begin. 

Barooga Blue, Miss Pinky Paws and Our Last Hope were slow to begin.

Whiskey And Dry – Late scratching at 10.41am due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Christopher Tilley was fined $100.

Joyous Reward – Late scratching at 10.51am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Running River was quick to begin. 

Zambora Riot faltered approaching the 150m mark and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

MEETING COMMENTS:

Ms Kate Gorman was fined $100 for failing to ensure the registration cards were produced for Sling Blade, Big Timber, Mangrove Merv, Unique Artist & Crown Weight, pursuant to GAR 88.

Mr John Mangion was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Space Cabang, pursuant to GAR 88.
