Snowy's Sister was quick to begin. Viking Rebel was slow to begin.
Teeter underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mr Dylan Sharp declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr Dylan Sharp regarding Teeter’s racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Teeter was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Sharp pleaded not guilty to the charge.Teeter was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
