Steward's Report
Star Hawk was quick to begin.
Splits To Burn underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind foot. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Aaron Farley regarding the racing manners of Splits To Burn approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Farley, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
A post–race sample was taken from Makhulu – the winner of the event.
