Nehalem – Late scratching at 21:22 on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a fracture to the tail injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Seebohm Bale and Egyptian tiger were slow to begin.
Seebohm Bale, underwent a post–race veterinary examination after incident in the catching pen and was found to have right foreleg carpal sprain injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Soda Helen – the winner of the event.
