Steward's Report
Billy Spanner, Golden Chilly, Bold Dazzler and Ando's Jae raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight.
Ando's Jae (collided with Bold Dazzler approaching the home turn) , underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle and right shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Daniel Boots regarding the racing manners of Ando's Jae approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Daniel Boots, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
Golden Chilly (visibily eased approaching the home turn), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injured the right dew claw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Josh Duncan regarding the racing manners of Golden Chilly approaching the home turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Josh Duncan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
A post-race sample was taken from Moraine Bella - the winner of the event.
