Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Bonnie's Beast on 9 November 2023, pursuant to GAR 139.
Market Mate and Manfred Man were quick to begin. Shaye jay and Soda Heather were slow to begin.
Dashing Mini (lost ground on the first turn and in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing on the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Breeze Breaker (turned it's head inwards in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have mouth injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Geoffrey Mitchell regarding Breeze Breaker's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Breeze Breaker was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Geoffrey Mitchell pleaded guilty to the charge. Breeze Breaker was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
