Steward's Report
Major Bomber and Zipping Bryce were slow to begin.
Major Bomber underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Brian Hodgson regarding the racing manners of Major Bomber at the 100m mark. After hearing submissions from Mr. Hodgson, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Pacific Surf lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
