A pre–race sample was taken from Compton Blazer.
So Sudden was quick to begin. Regina Nero was slow to begin. Selynya Blue, So Sudden, and Mr. Buck Lee raced wide in the home straight.
Compton Blazer underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a torn nail on the left foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Dale Plier was issued with a warning and reminded of his responsibilities for failing to follow the Starter's orders when boxing Regina Nero, pursuant to GAR 105.
