Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Harbour Lights upon arrival at the course.
She Is Scarlett, She's Iconic, Stacy's Mum and Harbour Lights were slow to begin.
Wenda Bale (visibly eased, turned it's head inwards and marred Kraken Casper in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Coulson regarding Wenda Bale's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Wenda Bale was charged with marring. Mr Shaun Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge. Wenda Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Kraken Casper (turned it's head outwards in the home straight) , underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Kevin Eyles regarding Kraken Casper’s performance and racing manners in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Eyles, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Kraken Casper unsatisfactory. Kraken Casper must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
