An out of competition sample was taken from Sunshine Gold on 6/9/2023 pursuant to GAR 139.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Ms. Donna Robertson did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Fritter was quick to begin. Jolly Johnny was slow to begin.
Sunshine Gold [checked turning out of back straight and lost ground over the concluding stages], underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
