Steward's Report
Daisy Deeds – Late scratching at 2:48pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a laceration on the right hamstring. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry with trainer Mr. Mark Keane in relation to the late scratching.
My Girl Brooke and Wasting Time were quick to begin.
My Girl Brooke lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left adductor injury. A 5 day stand-down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Shaun Baulch regarding the racing manners of My Girl Brooke in the back straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Baulch, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
Caesars Palace – Trainer Mr. Mark Roberts was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr. Roberts were noted.

Stewards closed the inquiry with Mr. Keane in relation to Daisy Deeds. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
