Steward's Report

The start was delayed by approximately two minutes due to operational activities. 

Valdivian was quick to begin. Eternal Capers and Scotch Neat were slow to begin. 

Eternal Capers contacted the running rail approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Diva Mikado was galloped on by Darling River approaching the first turn and subsequently fell. Diva Mikado underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind spike wound injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Darling River galloped on Diva Mikado approaching the first turn and subsequently fell. Darling River underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg radius fracture injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Scotch Neat, was severely checked  approaching the first turn. Scotch Neat underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left hind spike wound injury. A  5 day stand down period was imposed.
