Steward's Report
The start of this event was aborted after the lure stalled on forward motion approching the starting boxes. Stewards directed that all greyhounds undergo a veterinary exmination and return to the kennel block. Stewards established an adjustment was requred to the mechanical mechanism to the motor. The lure was retested on several occasions. All greyhounds were passed fit to start in accordance with GAR 110(7) and the race was rescheduled to commence at 11.27am.
Bridgewater Bob and Galileo Brae were quick to begin. Blue Scotch Boy was slow to begin.
