Steward's Report
Bomber's Beauty was slow to begin.
Hurricane Julie crossed out soon after the start and raced wide through-out the event. Pamela Jay raced wide in the home straight.
Hurricane Julie was severely checked on the first turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Galloping Lucy lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind hock spike wound injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Beautiful Liar – the winner of the event.
