Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Mally Boy.
Mally Boy was quick to begin. Daintree Spirit was slow to begin.
Dashing Claudia was severely checked on the first turn and lost ground. Dashing Claudia underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr John Musselwhite regarding the racing manners of Mally Boy in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Musselwhite, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
