Sailplane (checked and fell approaching the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have lameness in the left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Oveerseer (severely checked by Sailplane approaching first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no injury reported.
