Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Heather Blast.
Aston Aitana and Walter Avenue were slow to begin.
Heather Blast lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Phillip Trewin regarding the difficulty in boxing Heather Blast in this event. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 106(2) and Stewards will continue to monitor the box manners of Heather Blast at future starts.
