Aeroplane Ricky – Late scratching at 7.04am when Ms. Vicki Wisener reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Stewards interviewed trainer Mr. Paul Bartolo in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Never Be Alone from this race. Stewards noted Mr. Bartolo's comments.
