Steward's Report
Be Kind – New declared weight of 34.2kg, last raced at 32.8kg.
The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 86 when a handler was unable to retrieve two greyhounds from a vehicle in the carpark.
Rita May was quick to begin. Nana's Rebel and Little Spango were slow to begin.
Be Kind (faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injured the left monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Rita May – the winner of the event.
