Mr. G Anders was fined $100 under GAR156(f) for negligence, after the greyhound Lucy Deeds was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.  In assessing the matter, Stewards took into consideration Mr. Anders' record in the industry and wholly suspended the fine pending no further breaches pursuant to GAR 156(f) for a 12 month period.  The Club Official was reminded of his responsibilities after the greyhound Lucy Deeds was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration and remediation.

Salma Bale and Burn The Witch were quick to begin. Lucy Deeds was slow to begin.

Crimson Kit (visibly eased on the first turn), underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle muscle and right front sesamoid injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative Mr. Dylan Sharp regarding Crimson Kit's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Crimson Kit was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Sharp pleaded not guilty to the charge. Crimson Kit was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
