Steward's Report
Plumb–Late scratching at 10:09on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to Bruised right back muscle. A 10day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Kody Talks.
A post race sample was taken from Crowdza Smiling - the winner of the event.
Rumour Is Fact [faltered approaching the 150m mark and tailed off], underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hip injury . A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Geoffrey Howell regarding Rumour Is Fact overall performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Geoffrey Howell to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Rumour Is Fact in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
