Steward's Report
Stewards interviewed Mr Luke Adams in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Zipping Adams from this race. Mr Adams advised stewards that the greyhound pulled up sore following a trial. Mr Adams stated that the greyhound will be checked by the vet as Mr Adams was unsure as to where the greyhound was sore. Mr Adams had no communication with any trainers in relation to this event, stewards noted the explanation.
Stewards interviewed Mr John Boreland in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Rio Jenny from this race. Mr Boreland advised stewards that the greyhound sustained a front toe injury while in the yard. Mr Boreland stated he had not supported any runners in this event and had no communication with any trainers in relation to this event, stewards noted the explanation.
