Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Romena Charm upon arrival at the course.
Pat Penny marred Coffee Buddies at the 200m mark, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fibula injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Donald Jarvis regarding Pat Penny’s racing manners at the 200m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Pat Penny was charged with marring. Mr. Jarvis pleaded not guilty to the charge. Pat Penny was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
