Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant, Mr Aaron Blake did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Black Star Indi, Black Jester and Playmaker were slow to begin.
Black Jester (turned it's head to the outside in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4 - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Aaron Blake regarding Black Jester’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Black Jester was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Blake pleaded guilty to the charge. Black Jester was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
