Calcraft Bale - frequency of racing, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Blame Billy, checked on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right biceps pectoral back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to participant, Mr Tony Galea regarding his conduct enroute to starting boxes. A warning for inappropriate behaviour was issued pursuant to GAR 165(a).

After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were comfortably satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected so as to affect the outcome of the event. The All Clear was posted.

La La Missouri and Man Of Power were quick to begin. Razzle Dazzle and Coco Lilly were slow to begin.

Galileo Brae and Just A Jester were quick to begin. Swain Bale and Cailah's Pistol were slow to begin.

Scarlett's Wish underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg tarsal sprain injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Donald Jarvis regarding Scarlett's Wish’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Scarlett's Wish was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr Jarvis pleaded not guilty to the charge, Scarlett's Wish was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from My Mate Matha – unplaced in the event.

A pre–race sample was taken from Kaylee Onxy.

Lala Ultra Fast, Tinker Dan and Liverpool Street were quick to begin. Okay Kathy was slow to begin.

Okay Kathy, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Chris Darmanin regarding Okay Kathy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Okay Kathy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr Darmanin pleaded guilty to the charge. Okay Kathy must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ms Donna Knight was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Lala Santa, pursuant to GAR 88.

The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to operational activities. 

Lala Que was slow to begin.

Mr Fitty was severely checked in the back straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

General: Stewards opened an inquiry with Mr Gary Mannion after personal medication was found inside the kennel building. The inquiry was adjourned to be followed up at a later date. Supplementary Advice - On 14 June 2023, Mr Mannion was issued official warnings under GAR 92 (5) and GAR149, the matter is now finalised.

Ms Michelle Mallia, the handler of Aston Honey was issued a warning in that she made contact with the boxes after the greyhound was boxed, pursuant to GAR 105(10)(c).
