Pursuant to GAR 75(6), starter Ms. D. Robertson did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Confer was quick to begin. Daintree Lad was slow to begin.
Confer (racing manners home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. M. Giddings regarding the racing manners of Confer in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Giddings, viewing the available race footage, in particular the head-on vision on several occasions, and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.
