Oldrick Bale (brushed the running rail and lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left biceps injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Mepunga Mantra (lost ground approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right flexor tendon injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
