Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Mr. Specter.
Ravenna Bale was slow to begin.
Following the event, Max Nipper collapsed outside the catching pen. The greyhound was pronounced deceased by the On–Track Veterinarian. Routine samples were taken, and an autopsy will be conducted in accordance with GAR 43.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
Supplementary Report – 10 May 2023 - An autopsy was conducted on Max Nipper, who was pronounced deceased by the On–Track Veterinarian following the running of this race. The likely cause of death was acute abdominal haemorrhage.
