Bok Choy was quick to begin. Broadside and London Berry were slow to begin.
London Berry (turned it's head inwards towards Smug Doug in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 London Berry was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Berry pled guilty to the charge, London Berry was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
