Steward's Report
This event was delayed by approximately 4 minutes due to an issue with the compressor at the starting boxes.
A pre–race sample was taken from Kasumi Berry.
Burner Debt was quick to begin. Crash Zambora was slow to begin.
Crash Zambora fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the lumbo-sacral. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Kasumi Berry underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mrs Michele Berry regarding the racing manners of Kasumi Berry on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mrs Berry, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards were satisfied that Kasumi Berry was turned outwards as a result of a collision with Rise Again and took no further action.
