A pre–race sample was taken from Crackerjack Hawk.
Rumour Is was quick to begin. Crackerjack Hawk was slow to begin.
Nymph underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind foot, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Paul Hammerstein regarding the racing manners of Nymph in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Hammerstein, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
