Steward's Report
Trainer Mr P.Presutto requested an early race endorsement for Alfa Bullet. Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. Alfa Bullet will compete in early races until further notice.
Aeroplane Tori was quick to begin. All Eagle and Bennachie Miss were slow to begin. Maranello was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Aeroplane Tori (marred the running of Alfa Bullet in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Taylor Thornton regarding Aeroplane Tori’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Aeroplane Tori was charged with marring. Mr Thornton pleaded guilty to the charge. Aeroplane Tori was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Maranello underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a abrasion to the right eye. No stand down period was imposed.
