Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(7), Steward, Ms. Demi Barber, did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Zambora Riot.
Little Amelia was quick to begin. Spolly John and Sir Nathan were slow to begin.
Zambora Riot visibly eased turning off the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 11. Zambora Riot was found to have a a right triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Maria Barber regarding Zambora Riot's performance and racing manners. After hearing submissions from Mrs. Barber, viewing the available race footage, and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Zambora Riot unsatisfactory. Zambora Riot must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Sweet Lola - the winner of the event.
