Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Mini Minion.
Samuel Swan was quick to begin. Rushworth, Molly's Fantasy, Mini Minion and Vale Orchard were slow to begin.
Molly's Fantasy checked on the first turn and lost ground as a result, underwent a post–race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Lexi The Star did not jump on box rise and missed the start by approximately 10 lengths, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury and a left hock sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Chris Reynolds regarding Lexi The Star's performance and racing manners on box rise. After hearing submissions from Mr. Chris Reynolds, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Lexi The Star unsatisfactory. Lexi The Star must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
