He's Tremendous and Lektra Kit were slow to begin. Saint Bogan was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

He's Tremendous underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Neville Lenehan, trainer, regarding the racing manners of He's Tremendous in the home straight.  After hearing submissions from Mr. Neville Lenehan, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Sergeant Fire– Late scratching at 2:31pm under GAR 92(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after being found to be infested with fleas/parasites.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nominations will be accepted.

Blackpool Maeve and Saint Milly were slow to begin.

Tiggy's Em eased and raced wide on the home turn. Tiggy's Em underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have  a lumbo sacral injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mary Inguanti regarding Tiggy's Em's racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Tiggy's Em  was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mary Inguanti  pleaded guilty to the charge, Tiggy's Em  was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from Saint Milly – the winner of the event. 

Eskimo Roman– Late scratching at 2:24pm due to weight variation (GAR 101).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Robert Wombwell was fined $100.

Blackpool Poppy went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (5 lengths).

Kumani Sapphire was slow to begin.

Who Told Sarah marred Cosmic Leilani in the home straight.  - Who Told Sarah underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury.

Stewards spoke to Ronald Fisher regarding  Who Told Sarah’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Who Told Sarah was charged with marring.  Mr Fisher  pleaded guilty to the charge, Who Told Sarah was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Tria in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Catch The King was severely checked and fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A  7 day stand down period was imposed.
