Steward's Report
Aztec Blaze – Late scratching at 1.38pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Darren Irby was fined $100
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 2.18pm due to weather conditions (continuous lightning strikes) within the designated safety zone around the venue. Following further consultation with the Bureau of Meteorology and the track curator the meeting was abandoned at 2.57pm. All bets on greyhounds in the abandoned races to be refunded in full. The weights recorded for the greyhounds in the abandoned races do not count for the purposes of the weight rule at the greyhounds’ next start. Prizemoney to be split evenly between the competing greyhounds.
