Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Devil's Noir.
Lexie Rose underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg long head triceps injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Sharon-Lee Chignell regarding Lexie Rose's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Lexie Rose was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Chignell pled not guilty to the charge, Lexie Rose was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head-on vision available in the back straight for this event.
Supplementary Advice: 29 March - In accordance with GAR 122, Kennel Representitive Mr Jeff Chignell advised Stewards that Lexie Rose has also pulled up with sprained right hock ligments, which may require up to a months recovery and recuperation.
