Steward's Report
The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to ducks being removed from the track.
Herb faltered entering the home straight and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury and right thigh injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track entering the home straight and deemed it satisfactory for racing.
A post–race sample was taken from Aston Figaro – the winner of the event.
