Steward's Report
Go Wild Phil and Dynamic Groover were slow to begin. Stylish Chips, Invisible Stars and Gospel Lass collided on the first turn. Jack's Brutus crossed to the running rail on the first turn, checking Stylish Chips, Wee Bella and Pason Sander, Invisible Stars fell as a result.
Invisible Stars was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left triangle muscle and groin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. K. Quinn, the handler of Go Wild Phil regarding the greyhound's box manners.
Stewards spoke to Mr K. Quinn, handler of Jack's Brutus regarding the greyhound's improved performance. Mr Quinn stated that the greyhound has a tendency to miss the start, but was able to jump with the field and get a clear run this afternoon. Mr Quinn further stated that the greyhounds performance was above the expectations of the kennel. Stewards noted the comments of Mr Quinn and directed a sample be taken from Jack's Brutus.
