Lisicki Spur and Ultimate Jack collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Paranoia and Anna Rose collided on the first turn, checking Anna Rose. Highfield Stix and Lisicki Spur collided in the back straight, checking Lisicki Spur. Midnight Harry and Ultimate Jack collided on the second turn, checking Midnight Harry. Ultimate Jack and Morning Cruise collided in the home straight. 

Guilded Lily was slow to begin. Katie Sullivan was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Blue Suede Girl, Mission's Pride and Zelemar Leap collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Arvo's Caleb, Guilded Lily and Blue Suede Girl collided approaching the first turn, checking Guilded Lily and Blue Suede Girl. Arvo's Caleb and Blue Suede Girl collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Katie Sullivan contacted the running rail on the home turn. Guilded Lily raced wide in the home straight.

Rat Tail Jimmy and High Success collided approaching the home turn, checking Rat Tail Jimmy. Dr Mortisha, Zelemar Zing and Wicked Unit collided approaching the home turn, checking Dr Mortisha, Zelemar Zing, Cavalia and Ladies Kay.

Clovalley Angus was slow to begin. Hotshot Booker and Zoltar collided soon after the start. Marine checked off Zoltar approaching the first turn. Ultimate Cash checked off Noddin Off on the first turn. Zoltar checked off Zelemar Zest approaching the home turn, checking Zelemar Zest. Hotshot Booker checked off Zoltar approaching the home turn.

Dr Phil, Montane and Zelemar Storm were slow to begin. Zelemar Storm galloped on the heels of Swift Jaraig soon after the start. Montane and Swift Jaraig collided approaching the first turn, checking Montane. Dr Peekaboo and Dr Phil collided on the first turn, checking Dr Peekaboo. Bronco De Jurer and Dr Peekaboo collided on the first turn, severely checking Bronco De Jurer and Swift Jaraig. Zelemar Storm checked off Shout Out Loud on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr A. Taylor regarding the direction that the greyhound Montane be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Mr M. Teresi, trainer of Stetson Blue Az redeclared a new weight of 23.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Stetson Blue Az last raced at 24.4kg.

Clovalley Belle was quick to begin. Cruisy's Luck, Jumangi Spur and November Fantasy collided soon after the start, checking Jumangi Spur. Love Me To, Big Mannie and November Fantasy collided on the first turn, checking Love Me To and Jumangi Spur. Benny Brook galloped on the heels of Stetson Blue Az in the back straight, checking Stetson Blue Az. Big Mannie and November Fantasy collided approaching the second turn, checking Big Mannie. Stetson Blue Az checked off Love Me To on the second turn. November Fantasy and Big Mannie collided approaching the home turn. November Fantasy and Big Mannie collided several times in the home straight.

Kraken Mandy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left groin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Skye Warrior was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grade 2 tear to the left tricep, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Bar No One was a late scratching at 12:37pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hunter's Hero, Power Overload and Cruising Panther were slow to begin. Hunter's Hero galloped on the heels of Dr Victoria Pea soon after the start.
