Steward's Report
Mepunga Jess was quick to begin. Miss Monaleen and Musta Bale were slow to begin. Mepunga Jess crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Roxette Bale, Mumbles Murray and Asha Rhode. Asha Rhode checked off Miss Monaleen on the first turn. Mumbles Murray and Roxette Bale collided on the first turn. Asha Rhode clipped the heels of Mighty Sam in the home straight. Mighty Sam lost ground in the home straight.
Mighty Sam was vetted and after being re-vetted following event five, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both monkey muscles, the left pencil muscle and right triangle muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
