Dashing Dave and Hi Laddie collided on the first turn, checking Dashing Dave. Blue Ranger and Hi Laddie collided on the first turn. Hi Laddie and Belinda's Girl collided on the first turn. Hi Laddie checked off David Best on the second turn.

Hi Laddie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right fore spike wound; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Here Comes Alex, Choco Rocco and Holy Track collided approaching the first turn, checking Here Comes Alex. Corrine, Spotted Cruiser and Mint Burst collided on the first turn, checking Holy Track and severely checking Corrine, Spotted Cruiser and Mint Burst; causing Here Comes Alex to race wide. Choco Rocco and Cool Maxine collided approaching the home turn.

Elite Watch and Oscar's Chance collided approaching the first turn. Izack Bale, Quara Bale and Gee Callan collided on the first turn. Izack Bale galloped on Quara Bale on the first turn, severely checking both greyhound's. Elite Watch galloped on Mick Mow approaching the home turn, checking Mick Mow and severely checking Elite Watch and Gee Callan. Elite Watch and Gee Callan collided several times approaching the home turn. Elite Watch, Gee Callan. Izack Bale and Quara Bale collided on the home turn, checking all four greyhound's.

Luna Ash was slow to begin. Kinloch Dee and Chasin Mikado collided approaching the first turn. Kinloch Dee and Madame Black collided on the first turn. Small One raced wide approaching the second turn, causing Luna Ash to race wide. Time Dimension raced wide in the font straight and collided with Chasin Mikado; causing Chasin Mikado to race wide. Time Dimension galloped on Chasin Mikado on the third turn. Time Dimension checked off Chasin Mikado in the back straight. Semjase and Matlin's Tornado collided in the back straight. Semjase and Madame Black collided in the back straight. Kinloch Dee checked off Semjase approaching the home turn. Time Dimension raced wide entering the home straight and collided with Chasin Mikado. 

Time Dimension was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Ms. E. Johannsen Handler of the greyhound Time Dimension, regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the front straight and again entering the home straight. Ms. Johannsen explained that the greyhound is always a wide runner and tired over the concluding stages of the event. Stewards noted Ms. Johannsens' explination and took no further action. 

Ultimate Liddell was slow to begin. Rex Best checked off Allen Warlock soon after the start. Starvin' Seagull, Roxy's Pride and Allen Warlock collided on the first turn. Rex Best, Starvin' Seagull and Allen Warlock collided on the first turn, checking Starvin' Seagull. Starvin' Seagull and Roxy's Pride collided on the second turn severely checking Starvin' Seagull.

Starvin' Seagull was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to M. Gibbons the trainer of Starvin' Seagull regarding the greyhound not performing up to market expectations in this event. After viewing the official race footage and taking in to account the interference the greyhound suffered on the first turn and approaching the second turn, Stewards took no further action.

Kenju and Kingston Regal collided soon after the start. Kenju and Kingston Regal collided on the first turn, checking Batmandu. Go Go Gail raced wide in the back straight. Baron Bling checked off Tekki Minx on the third turn. 

B. Ender, trainer of Hard Day's Night redeclared a new weight of 29.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Hard Day's Night last raced at 31.2kg.

Loyal Miss was quick to begin. Creative Azzam and Loyal Miss collided approaching the first turn. Blue Flute and Loretta collided approaching the first turn, checking Dublin Dandy and Bassyappa. Cool Trend checked off Loyal Miss on the first turn. Creative Azzam clipped the heels of Cool Trend approaching the home turn. Blue Flute galloped on Kynan's Magic approaching the home turn, checking both greyhound's. Blue Flute and Dublin Dandy collided approaching the home turn. Creative Azzam galloped on Loyal Miss in the home straight, severely checking both greyhound's; Loyal Miss stumbled and lost considerable ground.
