Lektra Cruiser was slow to begin. Here Comes Alex, Early Notice and Prince Lark collided soon after the start, checking all three greyhounds. Roman Baroque, Woleebee Lad and Prince Lark collided at the 300m mark. Lektra Cruiser checked off Early Notice at the 300m mark and raced wide as a result. Roman Baroque, Woleebee Lad, Prince Lark, Here Comes Alex and Early Notice collided at the 250m mark, checking Roman Baroque, Here Comes Alex and Early Notice. Roman Baroque and Here Comes Alex collided at the 200m mark, and again at the 100m mark. My Senorita and Prince Lark collided approaching the winning post, checking My Senorita.
