Bunga Bunga was quick to begin.  Dyna Synch and Tommy El were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Erza Allen, Lektra Outlaw and My Baby Porscha collided on the first turn checking Erza Allen and My Baby Porscha.  Weblec Belle and Erza Allen collided on the second turn, severely checking Weblec Belle, collided with Dyna Synch, checking Dyna Synch.  Tommy El checked off Erza Allen on the third turn. My Baby Porscha raced eratically approaching the home turn.

My Baby Porscha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury.  Stewards spoke to Handler of My Baby Porscha, Mr T. Cortese, and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.

Young Hawke and Airbound collided soon after the start checking Airbound.  Bridgeson checked off Smoking Rosie soon after the start.  Ruff Edges and Praise Chorus collided approaching the first turn.  Young Hawk and Airbound collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Ruff Edges, Juan Diego, Bridgeson and Dyna Zod collided on the first turn checking Ruff Edges, Juan Diego and Dyna Zod.  Juan Diego and Dyna Zod collided approaching the second turn.  Young Hawke checked off Juan Diego on the second turn, collided with Dyna Zod, checking Dyna Zod.  Airbound checked off Praise Chorus entering the back straight.  Young Hawke and Dyna Zod collided in the back straight. Airbound galloped on the heels of Praise Chorus approaching the home turn checking Airbound.  Smoking Rosie and Dyna Zod collided approaching the winning post.

Sig Sauer was a late scratching at 6:38pm by Order Of Stewards after the incorrect greyhound was presented at kennelling.  Stewards have adjourned an inquiry into the matter to be held at a date to be fixed.

Custom Classic was a late scratching at 7:36pm by Order Of Stewards.  Stewards conducted an inquiry into the late scratching of Custom Classic and subsequently charged Trainer, Ms K. Smyth, pursuant to GAR 46(2) in that Ms Smyth failed to retrieve the greyhound within the appointed time for the greyhound to compete.  Ms Smyth pleaded guilty.   Stewards found Ms Smyth guilty as charged and issued her a fine of $150. In determining penalty, Stewards took into consideration Ms Smyth's guilty plea, expressed remorse and excellent record over a sustained period of time.

Above All was slow to begin.  Above All and Berry Blitz collided on the first turn checking Berry Blitz, severely checking Above All.  Berry Blitz and Glock collided on the first turn, severely checking Glock which raced wide.  Above All and Glock collided on the second turn checking Glock. Scanez Cee raced wide in the back straight.  Berry Blitz and Above All collided approaching the third turn.

Alotta Luck was slow to begin.  Ima Fairytale, Abbey's Hand, Dyna Glinda, Dynamo's Miss and Sonic Pirate collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Glinda and Dynamo's Miss.  Abbey's Hand and Sonic Pirate collided on the first turn checking Sonic Pirate.  Sonic Pirate and Rockin'Josie collided in the front straight.  Dyna Glinda checked off Abbey's Hand approaching the home turn and raced wide.

Flying Twist and Allen Wake collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the second turn, checking Allen Wake and Newfire Riley. Ruff Cut Diamond and Starc collided on the second turn checking Starc, severely checking Ruff Cut Diamond which stumbled.
