Occupation Lad checked off Grand Slam Diva approaching the home turn. Snitzel Von Krum and Pod Warren collided entering the home straight.

Start Talkin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Çantona was quick to begin. Saint Gas was slow to begin. Cairnlea Flash and Bela Safira collided soon after the start. Cairnlea Flash and Lilac Evening collided approaching the first turn. Bela Safira and Lilac Evening collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Twisted Whiskers stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 Lengths). El Carado and Lite Beam were slow to beign. El Carado checked off Be Two Bomber soon after the start. Just Angus and El Carado collided on the first turn. Hashtag Drew, Milly Molly Moo, Be Two Bomber and Asha Rhode collided approaching the home turn checking Milly Molly Moo, Be Two Bomber, Asha Rhode and Lite Beam. Lite Beam raced wide approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Just Angus and Asha Rhode collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Just Angus checked off Twisted Whiskers approaching the winning post.

Lite Beam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left monkey muscle and left and right thigh muscles and spike wounds to the right hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bill I Am and Explosive Gas were quick to begin. Connor's Rocket was slow to begin. Fearless John, Noosa Rocket, Connor's Rocket, Justa Beam and Lektra Pebbles collided soon after the start checking Noosa Rocket, Connor's Rocket and Lektra Pebbles, and severely checking Justa Beam. Flying Do Do, Connor's Rocket and Lektra Pebbles collided on the first turn severely checking Connor's Rocket and Lektra Pebbles. Bill I Am and Explosive Gas collided approaching the home turn causing Explosive Gas to fall. Justa Beam pulled up approaching the home turn and tailed off.

Explosive Gas was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right monkey muscle and right thigh muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs.D.Sturgess, the trainer of the greyhound Justa Beam. Justa Beam was vetted and after being re-vetted following event six, it was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the left and right thigh muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Justa Beam with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Crackerjack Lad and Punk Pirate were slow to begin. Kirabilli Jaxson and Lektra Concrete collided soon after the start. El Roscoe checked off Punk Pirate approaching the first turn. Lektra Concrete and El Roscoe collided approaching the home turn. Black Barron Lad and Lektra Concrete collided approaching the home turn. Black Barron Lad and El Roscoe collided in the home straight checking Black Barron Lad.

Just Ducal and Kirabilli George were slow to begin. Sarsha was quick to begin. Molly Michelle, Abbey's Hand, Macburner and Rapid Roy collided approaching the first turn checking Abbey's Hand and Macburner. Sarsha, Molly Michelle and Rapid Roy collided on the first turn checking Sarsha. Abbey's Hand crossed to the outside on the first turn checking Macburner, Just Ducal and Kirabilli George. Macburner and Kirabilli George collided on the third turn checking Kirabilli George. Sarsha and Just Ducal collided entering the home straight.
