Bring Me Roses and Diversify were quick to begin.
Golden Coast underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to escaping the catching pen and was found to have a spike wound. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms K.Norton regarding Golden Coast escaping the catching pen. After hearing submissions from Ms Norton, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Golden Coast unsatisfactory. Golden Coast must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
